Many unafraid of Mayan prophecy
Fear Sarah Palin will win presidency

Many people around the world are afraid the Mayan calendar prophecy will come true - that the end of the world will occur in December 2012.  People were afraid of the year 2000, in which this was to cause major havoc in computer systems and many believed, an apocalypse.  Nothing happened but a few minor computer glitches.  However, more and more are concerned about the Mayan prediction - an apocalypse at the end of 2012.  "I was scared at first, but then I realized, if Sarah Palin wins the presidency in November 2012, then it wouldn't be so bad," said Lisa Haldwell of California. A Washington University in St. Louis alum made a breakthrough in the field of mathematics.  Saaed Ahmad, 26, graduated from the university in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics.  Ahmad took out thousands of dollars in student loans from the federal government and private loans as well.  When Ahmad graduated, he had to start repaying the student loans six months after graduation unless he was continuing his education. Many people all across the world have claimed they have spotted Jesus in many objects, such as oranges, potatoes, and bread and have sold them for a decent amount on eBay. Because of this, many people's faith in eBay has soared. "These sightings have really helped eBay profits," said eBay CEO John Donahoe. "Thousands are flocking to the site - eBay.com that is - to learn how they, too, can make money," added Donahoe. "People read eBay's instruction manual with skepticism, but when money started to come in, that's when they became true followers." Claims only he can use roman numerals

According to court documents, Pope Benedict XVI is suing the National Football League (NFL) for its use of roman numerals, claiming only he should be allowed to use them. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stated that the NFL only uses them for one game, once a year - the Super Bowl. In 2010, Super Bowl XLIV will be held in Dolphin Stadium in Miami, Florida. Read more.

Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek wants rule changes
Contestants using wrong phrasing of question

Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek claims he is upset at the judges for not changing the rules to the popular game show. Contestants have to phrase their response in a form of a question; however, the phrasing of the questions does not matter. Trebek feels as if contestants are abusing this rule and, therefore, aren't taking the game show seriously. "I see contestants chuckle after they respond," said Trebek. "Contestants feel more relaxed, so they can have fun and get more responses right and win more money," said a judge.
